Nail Tech Must-Haves
My NTMH’s have changed SO drastically since becoming a nail tech 6 years ago but I really feel like I’ve nailed (excuse the pun!) my staple desk must-haves 💅🏽
The TGB grey buffers are my FAV! I used them all day every day with EVERY client and I have for 3+ years now. They’re my absolute favourite buffer - https://advocates.thegelbottle.com/s/sarah.p/shop/100-180-nail-buffer-5-pack/
For TGB I also pretty much use ONLY their nail Art brushes - their liner brush especially I am obsessed with! As you can see I have a lot of them and I’ve used them for over 3 years now 😂 - https://advocates.thegelbottle.com/s/sarah.p/shop/liner-02-brush/
If you hadn’t guessed from the videos and how many times I talk about them, the Brillbird Brush and Go Detail paints are my go-to for detail nail art, especially when doing isolated chrome. They have a “built in” top coat so the chrome rubs on like a DREAM! I do also really like the TGB Studio Gel Pots as they have detail paints in every shade to made the gels! - https://advocates.thegelbottle.com/s/sarah.p/colours/jet-black-studio-gel/
Flat Brushes, even just cheap ones from Amazon are a must for your nails desk. I use them for sooo many reasons; cleaning up nail art, cleaning up and sharpening a French, marble.. you name it! You can get a pack in Amazon quite cheap and they last ages - https://amzn.eu/d/3hLwpEb
Amazon is also perfect for the colour chromes I use for isolated chrome - there’s so many bundles where you get a huge selection of colours… be sure to add a pack of eye shadow applicators too! - https://amzn.eu/d/e7pDoi8
I use Magpie for pretty much any loose glitter - their selection is insane. I also use them for the ombré pigment powders too. They seem to last forever and the packaging is good for storage!
For 3D nails, I use Sissi clay which is shown in my 3D Videos - you can buy them individually or as a bundle! They’re great as you can blend them together to make new colours and they’re my go-to for 3D Nails, I can’t imagine using anything else.
My latest favorite tool, not necessarily nail art related, by the Loopy Tool from Muse is my favourite cuticle tool! I only started using it this year but I can’t imagine not having it now. It’s definitely one to try if you’re looking to up your Prep game! - use code SARAH10 for money off - https://musefile.com/products/cuticle-tool-beveled-and-loop-pusher?sca_ref=7852738.Yd2N3RCsYqkpw
If you ever want to know anything about any other tools I use, or just need a recommendation, feel free to slide into my DMs! 🖤
